Lord God,
I pray for those families tonight who have been struck with the tragedy of losing a loved one at VT. Lord, Be with them, comfort them, strengthen them, help them. Let them not be bitter but help them to seek you. Provide their needs of comfort through friends.
I pray for those who were injured. Heal them and give them the strengh they need.
I pray for the emotional needs of the student witness’ and the rescuer’s who responded. Heal their minds from what they saw and let it not negatively affect their lives.
Lord, although we know that this event was not of your hand but of the devil we pray that you would work in the aftermath and help many who are in need of you to come to that realization.
Thank you for being great in spite of all.
