You will find no disagreement from me or from the Catholic Church with Timothy. Neither the Church nor myself see an "Only" there.
There's a lot more Scripture supporting Sola Scriptura than the fictitious belief that one human man on earth is to be the head of the church.
The head of the church is Jesus Christ.
Alone.
"For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body." -- Ephesians 5:23
Anything else steals he glory that the Creator rightly claims for His own and gives it to the creation.
Big mistake.
