That's great! There was a group of laypeople who used to do this in NYC, about a million years ago. It should be done in every city in the US. The Mormons can do it, why not us?
Remember their TV commercials that showed a family playing games together, eating snacks, reading books, etc., and then gave a number to call for a free Bible and Book of Mormon?
I thought Catholics should have a commercial showing Pope John Paul II speaking to the youth, and a number to call for a free Bible, a video of the Pope, and a visit from the local parish. Can you imagine how many people could be reached if we had that kind of national coordination?
It looks like Archbishop Chaput may be reaching toward something like this at the diocesan level. He's so cool!
