Right now we only grow in our bodies
= = =

So, St Paul's exhortations about us GROWING IN THE LORD in this life

were all lies?

Have you informed God? He might want to deduct some points from ST Paul's score.

So, you haven't grown in the Lord in this life AT ALL???

That would explain a lot of things.

"It would seem that being allowed to go to a Jewish doctor after being forbidden to do so is more like an opposite move than an expanding one. But, I can imagine that there was no dogma about it either way before, so it can be said that either position is not in contradiction to any dogma."

The canons relating to Jewish doctors were disciplinary canons and were enacted to deal with a perceived problem that Jews and "Judaizers" would lure Christians away from the Faith, to apostasize as it were. They have never been abrogated to the best of my knowledge, but have passed into disuse because they clearly wouldn't serve their original purpose in this day and age. I suppose its fair to ask whether they ever served any real purpose, but the council which passed them, Spanish I think, apparently believed there was a problem and saw this as a solution. These canons have nothing to do with doctrine or dogma.

How much of France and Spain are already Muslim or apostate?

Not to mention
France (Wiki) A 2004 IFOP survey tallied that 44% of the French people do not believe in God; contrast with 20% in 1947 [12].

Spain (Wiki) Evidence of the secular nature of contemporary Spain can be seen in the widespread support for the legalization of same-sex marriage in Spain — over 66% of Spaniards support gay marriage according to a 2004 study by the Centre of Sociological Investigations.[52]

The recent waves of immigration have led to an increasing number of Muslims, who have about 1 million members. Muslims had not lived in Spain for centuries; however, colonial expansion in Northern and Western Africa gave some number of residents in the Spanish Morocco and the Sahara Occidental full citizenship. Nowadays, Islam is the second largest religion in Spain, after Roman Catholicism, accounting for approximately 3% of the total population.

How can a clean soul exist in a body that committed sin?
= = =

Ahhhhh, so, St Paul's discourse about the good that he would do, he doesn't and the bad he would avoid, he does because of the warring natures within him. . . .

More Pauline lies?

Oh, dear. Please inform our Heavenly Father. There must be a whole lotta points going to be deducted from Paul's score.

Unless . . .

instead of St Paul's perfect Scriptural writings being in error, it is your own theology that's askew.

That would explain a lot of things.

If you have the link tracing Baptists all the way back to the first centuries, I'd love to have it. Thanks.

Acts 2; I Cor 12-14 has evidently had expression from the earliest centuries to now as well . . . though sometimes only in very hidden small groups.

Well, you've just utterly denied the power of Christ and deffered to dicators, so nuff said.
= = =

Is there some Orthodox catechism training which teaches folks how to read absolute hogwash into other believers' statements?

Sure seems like it. If so, I'd like to know the course title so I can be sure and avoid it.

Christ said turn the other cheek, not bend over - and bend over we shall if we permit the cancer of international Islam to spread and destroy the civilized world.

We have an obligation to civlization as much as to religion, and Islam is as vicious as NAZIsm or Communism.

Well put.

While I doubt that France's abortion laws were imposed upon it by the Muslim immigrants, you seem to agree with ZULU that the present threat to Christian civilization comes from Islam.

Only since protestantism, manifest in secularism, softened them up spiritually.

One thing is for certain. Muslims beleive their government should be a Muslim one a hell of a lot more than any West Europeons beleive it should be a Christian one.

Grandiose assumptions about types and degrees of--or even the operant existence of

AWARENESS

can be exceeeeeeedingly hazardous in the religion forum.

[... I don't know whether there will be any merging, but I don't want to exclude the possibility either. It's up to Christ to do with me according to His will. ..]

The urge to merge could explain many human qualia and activities..
Although merging in a human body would be merely metaphorically of the reality..
The reality of merging could only be a spiritual thing..

And if, "we" are not spirits than what survives after the body dies..

Excellent points.

But when one rationalizes the flushing of . . . everything but what's in one's theological mirror . . .

all manner of perfectly sound SCRIPTURE can be rationalized away.

Until, of course, one stands eye ball to 'eye ball' with Father God.

Our attention must be on worshipping Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and living like Christ showed us we should.

Thanks for the correction.

What an UNsurprise.

You seem to believe that

UNBIBLICAL PROTESTIES ARE MANY ORDERS OF MAGNITUDE WORSE

than UNBIBLICAL RC'S ORTHY'S.

And all the horrors of the UNBiblical RC's over the centuries are minor details while the horrors of UNBiblical protesties have caused the fall of Europe.

LOL.
