I am saying when you read Bible prophecy to Israel it is probably not referring to some little country on the eastern shore of the Mediterranean.

Then, who do you think is being referred to?

Genesis 22:17-18 is most likely referring to the millenia. Ezekiel 37 sounds quite similar. However, don't you think that, through Christ, Abraham's seed has been multiplied to innumerable levels?

Genesis 17:3-4 are likely millenia related as well.

Personally, so much ground is covered in so few pages in Genesis, that I personally don't try to read too much into it. Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Daniel and the NT have much more detail, but still, not being a prophet, I tend to concentrate on what a Christian should do now and how to sanctify from past apostasies. Regardless of when Jesus is coming back, which we can't know anyhow, this commission is unmistakeable and transcends time:

Rev 12:17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

I am also curious to know how profitable a discussion on prophesy can be with folks who can't even agree on the basics:

1Ti 1:6 For some men, straying from these things, have turned aside to fruitless discussion,
1Ti 1:7 wanting to be teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions.

I don't know....except that Israel is not a good fit.

Absolutely.

Genesis 17:3-4 are likely millenia related as well.

Yep....likely.

Good advice.

Rev 12:17 So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. It's all in the eye of the beholder....and the lurkers.

So who do you think the dragon represents in Revelation?
