Hey, it just goes to show that no knowledge is ever wasted!

I took Greek in college because I thought I was going to major in Classics. But I didn't have enough time to get my Greek credits AND my Latin credits, because I had quit Latin in Jr. High to take German . . . so I wound up with a History major although I had enough credits to major in History or English Lit or German . . .

But the transition from Classical to Koine Greek was not that difficult. I can't read it right off any more like I could when I was in college, but with my Liddell & Scott lexicon and a good grammar I can limp along. Of course, reading the Bible is easier than reading literature, because I know what it says already, I'm just reading for detail!
