Here you are confusing the 7th trumpet with something that happens at the 6th seal. These people want to die in order to hide from the wrath of the Lamb. This does not describe the attitude of the people in the days of Noah.

Ping - I think I finally see what you are getting at. I once heard a preacher, one I loved to listen to, make the comparison of Noah's day and ours, in as much as everyone was happy, "giving and taking in marriage". His assumption was that it was a good thing. It was not.
That statement is in reference to the fallen angels mixing with daughters of Adam. Noah and his family were the only ones of pure pedigree. Because of that "giving and taking in marriage" the "wickedness of man was great in the earth...".

Ping - The 6th seal, 6th trump and 6th vial is the #666 which God uses to warn us that he comes first. Satan comes at those times, all preceed the 7th when Christ comes at His 2nd. advent. We are to wait for Him.
All of this is confusing to me, as far as the timing of some of the trumps and seals. I have been taught that the seals are not in chronological order but are in good teaching order - teaching us who comes first. The Trumps are in order. The seals happen all at once, when stuff hits the fan on earth. All the seals are before the 1st trump and are given by Jesus to warn us of who comes first.
So, I believe that people are not trying to hide from the wrath of the Lamb but are hiding for shame at loving Christ all their life but not reading His letter that instructed them to wait for the 7th trump. They were "taken" by the fake.
