ANN ARBOR, MI The California Supreme Court, yesterday, affirmed the precedent-setting decision of a California appellate court, which upheld the right of the people of San Diego to transfer the Mt. Soledad veterans memorial and cross to the federal government. At the same time, the Court denied the ACLUs attempt to prevent the publication of the lower court decision favorable to the cross and veterans memorial. The ACLU was seeking to have the decision suppressed so that it would not be used against them in future lawsuits.

That free speech thing is a b****, innit?
The ACLU attempting to censor criticism. How interesting.....
I thought that court decisions were supposed to be part of the public record. Fourth amendment I think (someone please correct me if I am wrong).
Do you really think the ACLU read the 4th Ammendment?
Hell, they haven't even read any of the Constitution so why should the 4th bother them.
(that's sarcasm btw)
This just proves that you have to fight the ACLU at every discourse and hearing and lawsuit. They ultimately have no ground to stand on and use dishonest tactics to get their agenda into law. Good going Thomas More Law Center. Most excellent koodos to you.
I was also pleased to learn that Rep. Duncan Hunter was the force behind the push to protect this landmark cross!
Anytime the ACLU takes one in the eye, it can't be bad.
Good stuff ~ Go Duncan Hunter!
Duncan Hunter takes on the ACLU and wins. By the way, he also authored the Mexican Border fence bill, for those who did not know.
Awesome.
This is a very good example of the ACLU and its issues with the cross.
