My little one was just asking me why I had water in my eyes, and I told him, it's because I have such nice people praying for me. I am so very thankful and honored for all of you keeping me in your thoughts and prayers.
I found out today that my surgery has to be postponed because I have strep. My regular doctor and my surgeon both said "wait" for the surgery, so I've been rescheduled for Friday, March, 9th. This should give enough time for the antibiotic to work. We're all hoping that my gallbladder will hold out for just a bit longer until I can get it removed.
After reading all the responses about how much better one feels after having the surgery, I'm not quite so scared anymore. I'm ready to get rid of the cause of the pain. Knowing that I have so many different people praying for me has given me tremendous comfort and peace. I might actually get a good night sleep tonight! =)

Oh...I am sorry to hear you have strep...and have to put off the surgery.
I know that waiting is very hard...but, like others, I can tell you that you will be so glad when it's over..you will feel so much better...it will be worth it.
Just take good care of yourself...and let your little one take care of her Mommy....
Prayers up for now and the surgery....

"What PhiKapMom said above" - the first thing I've heard from most friends who had the surgery is "Now I can eat anything I want!"

So sorry to hear that you are not feeling well enough to have surgery now. I was having steroid shots in my back for over one year. Since my gall bladder was removed my back pains are gone. Knowing you will feel better afterwards may make the waiting easier for you. I will continue to pray for you.
