Unfortunately, when I went to confession last Saturday there was no line. I told Father I thought that everyone and their brother would be there because it was the Saturday before Lent starts, but he said it was a very lonely time.

I personally know 2-3 people who have difficulties in life and instead reach for a pill or spend time with a therapist. The sickness they feel of the mind is simply a sickness of their soul.

I keep prodding my pastor and he is going to have a full homily on confession this week. We are also having a "Fathers of Mercy" priest from Kentucky here in March for a Mission. They are active with EWTN.
I pray for them all.
