I must say I think this article is a bit over the top

I am in full agreement. But there are some very interesting points made in the article that are worth pondering. More than once on FR, I have seen it noted that Islam is a heresy of Christianity.

As always, your comments are much appreciated.

Part of Islam was derived from Gnosticism, but much of it is derived from ancient Arab religious beliefs.

The altar became a table, to be moved as required. The church itself commonly became a meeting place, with no sacred character, and needed no special reverence when not in use for services.

It's becoming more and more clear that the Catholic religion has very little to do with Jesus, in spite of the public claims...Sacred buildings???

Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to show him the buildings of the temple.
Mat 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Islam and Protestantism??? Who's popes go around kissing and embracing the Koran??? And claim to worship the same god that muzlims worship???

The post may be good for 'comic relief' but no more than that...
