LOL! I suppose I could pick the partially germinated barely off the ground, but that would be more in line with what the Trappists Monks do to make their excellent (but pricey) beer.

I don't know what secret/special process the Monks use, but so long as the process isn't similar to that required to make Kopi Luak coffee, I'd be willing to take a sip.

After seeing how most of us looked at the recent gathering of the Hartford freepers I would just as soon have someone clothed when they picked the partially germinated barley off the ground. Just my sensitivity and queezy stomach.
