Beer making is an art. I love the Trappist beer that I have had the opportunity to sample, even though I know how it is made (hint, it wouldn't meet an FDA inspection). But it literally would not work anywhere else do to the water mineral content, yeast, soil breakdown, etc. of the area.
When I was studying for my Masters in Brewing (left the job, so had to stop for a while), I realized that there are people who have devoted their whole life to the study of beer foam.
It was at that point I realized I missed my calling.
