PING
to END TIMES/DREAMS/VISIONS/PROPHECY
PING LIST.
Please let me know if you want on or off the list.
= = = =
It's exciting to see a major means of fulfilling the prophecy about The Gospel going to all the world before the Lord's Return--and that it can evidently happen via the wind-up MP3 players within the next 8-12 years IIRC.
PRAISE GOD!
It's also exciting to see such a VIVID, DEMONSTRATION OF SOLA SCRIPTURA. Healthy churches arising spontaneously by Holy Spirit AND GOD'S SPOKEN WORD.
Fancy that! HOLY SPIRIT REALLY KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING?
Who'd a thunk! /sar
I'm happy of the gospel being spread, but it's quite a stretch to say it proves a self-contradiction.
30 years is nothin'! Try 2000! :)
Oh, and hey, I wonder why this wasn't tried in, say, A.D. 1200 when most of the population was illiterate and when books cost the equivalent of a small house. I wonder why no enterprising medeival evangelist just didn't put it on an MP3 player (they were made of ivory back then) and distribute!
Thanks for posting this, Quix!
This is very interesting and encouraging. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the ping!
This is truly wonderful!
I see no contradiction!
Do I need to offer some /sar tags?
You're quite welcome, Alex.
Praise God for His faithfulness.
Amen! Amen! Amen!
Certainly welcome.
Blessed be the Name of The Lord!
Sure is, to me.
Thanks.
Blessings, to you and yours.
It's all in God's perfect timing, Claud.
Amen.
The Seranon sp? people group have had written Scriptures since the late 1800s as I recall. But the vast majority (90%?) of the population are illiterate.
The idea of putting the Bible on MP3 players and getting it to illiterate men and women in far-off places is a fascinating and worthy goal.
Twenty-first century evangelism. I think Jonathan Edwards would approve. 8~)
Great stuff Quix...What a great means of getting the gospel to the unsaved, especially those in impoverished countries. Thanks for posting.
We consider the Proclaimer** to be a gift from God. Why? Because the inspiration for it came during three days of fasting and prayer by the entire staff of Faith Comes By Hearing. So what is the Proclaimer?
* It is a digital player dedicated to play the Bible in the local heart language.
* The Scriptures are programmed on a microchip already installed and will not erase or wear out from frequent playing.
* The battery will play 15 hours and can be recharged enough times to play the entire New Testament over 600 times.
* The Proclaimer has a built in generator and solar charger to charge the battery.
* The solar charger, in addition to charging the battery, will run the Proclaimer even without battery power as long as there is sunlight. In other words, as long as there is a sun in the sky the Proclaimer will play the Sons Words.
* The sound is digital quality and loud enough to be heard clearly by groups of 300.
* Quoting a well-known TV personality: The Proclaimer is self powered and can play the Bible in the jungle, desert or
even on the moon!
* A New Testament Proclaimer is $100.*
* A complete Bible Proclaimer is $159* (Please call or write for available versions)
The Proclaimer was developed primarily as a playback device for the poor and illiterate who may not have any other source to hear God's Word. Our goal is to use the Proclaimer in the majority of our FCBH programs worldwide in 2006 and 100% thereafter.
Announcing the Acclaimer**!
The Acclaimer is a highly portable, totally self-contained video player built specifically to show Christian films in rugged, outdoor environments. Powered by rechargeable batteries, it requires no generator (solar panel also available). At only 35 pounds, it can be easily transported by one person, set up and broken down within minutes. Detachable speakers provide incredible sound for groups of 300-500 people (additional speakers can be added for larger groups), and a wireless microphone enables the field worker to utilize the speaker system. The lamp outputs 3200 lumens for amazing brightness.
The $1000 price includes the projector, battery, xenon lamp, DVD player, charger, wireless microphone and carrying case. (Optional fold-up solar panel is $250),p> For more information contact Hosanna at 1-800-545-6552.
