Romans 11...See then the goodness and the severity of God: towards them indeed that are fallen, the severity; but towards thee, the goodness of God, if thou abide in goodness, otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
1 Cor 10...Wherefore he that thinketh himself to stand, let him take heed lest he fall.
Heb 6....For it is impossible for those who were once illuminated, have tasted also the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, Have moreover tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, And are fallen away: to be renewed again to penance, crucifying again to themselves the Son of God, and making him a mockery.
Heb 10....For if we sin wilfully after having the knowledge of the truth, there is now left no sacrifice for sins, But a certain dreadful expectation of judgment, and the rage of a fire which shall consume the adversaries.
Heb 10....For if we sin wilfully after having the knowledge of the truth, there is now left no sacrifice for sins, But a certain dreadful expectation of judgment, and the rage of a fire which shall consume the adversaries.
These are pretty straight-forward verses...As you can see, once you lose your salvation, you can't get it back...And make no mistake...There is no distinction between a venial or mortal sin...If you have 'borrowed' a pencil and didn't give it back, or you have a habit of over eating, you're doomed...
And if you don't believe that, you can't claim you believe the bible...
God don't make no mudpies.
Phl 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ:
God is the authur and finisher of our faith.He would not be sovereign if once he brought you to faith through his Grace he allowed you to be lost.
>1 Cor 10...Wherefore he that thinketh himself to stand, let him take heed lest he fall.<
You need to read this chapter for context.It in no way refers to loosing ones salvation.It is actually a warning that Christians are still subject to sins of the flesh and should guard against conceit.
You should have read all of Hebrews Chapter 6.
Hbr 6:19 Which [hope] we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;
We have a hope that will endureth until we see the father(He resides behind the Veil)
