In that case, why not a Chinese Mary and an Ethiopian, or perhaps, a blond, blue-eyed Jesus?

I am sure there is enough talent in this world that we don't have to get "exotic." Also, there is a point when artistic license becomes just plain absurd.

Sure. Why not a chimpanzee. Your examples stretch the comparison about as far. Oh, and a blue eyed Jesus has been done. Watch King of Kings some time.

If and when you get to Heaven. You will be suprised how exotic how many of the heros and heriones in the Bible look. Please keep in mind that many of the events in the bible are taking place in the middle east and North Africa and Israel and these are exotic looking peoples. Not European!
