Some Protestants do, in fact, bless gay marriages, ordain gay bishops, promote abortion for the poor. So do Catholics. Gay clergy is OK according to Rome as long as they don't act out their sexual drives. And I can find you a number of Catholic websites devoted to abortion. Pedophiles were simply move from one diocese to another until recently. Would you care to see how some liturgical services incorporate Hindu practices? And, I'm sure, I could find similar things within the Orthodox Church.

Please point to the Catechism allowing for gay marriage or abortion, or Hindu practices. You should know better than to confuse doctrine with individual opinions of Catholics. Protestant denominations exist that allow for abortion, gay marriage, or gay lifestyle doctrinally.

Rome has guidelines about homosexuality. For chaste men with homosexual inclination monastic life is OK. Priesthood is not OK.

There's a difference. Yes some Catholics have unknowingly done this. However, and the Vatican was clear about this very recently, it is the policy of the Catholic church to reject these folks. The protestant policies are not.

All churches err in practice because all people have a sinful nature. The difference is that protestant churches are modifying or ignoring to word of God and setting up church rules that are an affront to God. They are promoting abomination in the name of God. They are telling folks that God's law is either subjective or different from what they really know it is. That is the wolves stealing the sheep away.
