I don't know. The Church teaches that today and has taught it for a long time. I listen to the Church.

The Church teaches that today and has taught it for a long time. I asked several RC friends this yesterday and to a one they had never heard of Mary's "intact, physical" virginity after the birth of Christ.
It would be interesting to see from where you're getting this and how recently it was determined.
