Dear Friends in Christ our Lord,
May the great peace and love of our Lord God always be with you! Now that it's November, the weather in Kosovo/Metohija is becoming severe, especially at night, and many people are freezing and without electricity.
We in America really do not know how well off we really are! Thanksgiving for us all is going to be full of wonderful family get togethers, hot delicious food, and warm rooms to eat it in.
However this is not going to be the situation in Kosovo/Metohija, as thousands upon thousands of Serbians and Albanians are going to be without proper heat, and food, simply because they cannot afford to pay for the exorbitant prices charged in this region for electricity and firewood.
Let me please give you the following information about this matter: all Serbian areas south of the Ibar river in Kosovo/Metohija, have been facing power cuts, on average 20 hours per day. The situation tends to grow into a humanitarian catastrophe, because it has already snowed and Celsius temperatures have gone below zero (freezing).
The price of chopped wood for heating has jumped from 27 euros to 45 euros. In regards to the electricity 900-Watt power aggregates, instead of 50 euros, now cost 70 euros.

The matter is that we are speaking about the following areas in great desperation for heat and electricity also in the central part of Kosovo in Gracanica; into he village of Dobrotin, Gusterica, Livadje and Lepina in the Lipljan municipality; in Kosvsko Pomoravje; and in Stpce.
Ping
An Orthodox ping!
I assume there's something we can do about this. How can we help?

How can we help?
Thanks! I'll bring this to the Philoptochos and the parish council. Maybe the rest of the Orthodox and the others on the Orthodox ping list could do likewise (hint, hint). We all bitch about what has happened to our people at the hands of the Mohammedans, and in this case Clinton's evil attack on our Serbian allies, so here's an opportunity to do something!
I'm not sure what other obligations I have regarding the military I have and whether or not I have enough time to fundraise, market etc...

if you know of anyone that can create a much nicer logo...let me know. i am not a graphic designer/artist
