Either challenge the points made at the link or not; either debate his position or don't, but don't attack a specific person with it.
We debate all sorts of things here. Please don't drive the Religion Moderator crazy.
It's not my fault there's a very selective definition of personal attack.
What points? There was no point made to challenge, merely an unsupported assertion about an entire group.
I don't like debate being done with links, religious or otherwise. I prefer someone to make their case in their own thoughtful and caring words, at least when it comes to something as personal as religion. And I don't like conclusory statements about the metaphysical, but that is just me. Pose questions, and do it with respect. Don't make the headline, "You are better off not being a Morman," because if you are, you are going to hell. That is execrable hubris. If there is a God, I am quite confident he would not be pleased. JMO.
This post is vacuous, with nothing to debate.
I am hoping some of our Mormon friends will show up and debate this poster, as is the norm here. Thanks for your post.
