I made no such judgment. "Schism" is a canonical judgment which is pretty clear cut. I made no particular judgment on this priest, yet I would be remiss if, in general terms, I don't reassert the position of the Church that schism is a grave sin and that those who embrace schism freely, voluntarily, and with full knowledge of its gravity, fall into mortal sin.

I can't tell if this priest did so nor is it my place to know and besides, is too late now.

You, on the other hand, still live. Perhaps you should ask yourself these questions and discuss them with your spiritual director to see where you stand.
