Gay-Activist Intimidation Tactics Increasing
The Connecticut Six | 9/03/2006

Those who speak the truth about homosexuality are becoming targets.

In spite of the fact that gay activists have long portrayed themselves as "victims," some are increasingly taking an aggressive posture, even to the point of threats and intimidation toward people who oppose their agenda.

Just a few examples:

    • A psychologist in Champaign, Ill., has been temporarily suspended from his job with the Minneapolis Police Department doing psych evaluations on police recruits, because gay activists objected to his relationship with the Illinois Family Institute -- a pro-family group associated with Focus on the Family.

    • In Seaside, Fla., authorities are investigating an incident in which petition-gatherers for the Florida Marriage Amendment were reportedly ordered to stop soliciting signatures by a pro-gay Seaside police officer, who also allegedly taunted and harangued them for their efforts.

    • In Provincetown, Mass., this summer, homosexuals were accused of taunting and harassing heterosexual tourists, whom they called "breeders." The Cape Cod beach resort is fast becoming known as a homosexual haven.

    • A Colorado Springs, Colo., family had yard signs favoring traditional marriage stolen from their yard and a threatening note left behind.

Christina Sewall said she was putting a sign back in her yard, in spite of the note.

"It accused us of being no better than terrorists, because the signs that we were displaying were, supposedly, 'hatred' and 'intolerant of others,' " she said. "And it said, 'The time for change has come,' and that we were 'in for a shock' because 'our government and way of life was about to change.' "

She said her family would not back down because of such threats.

Homosexuals Seek to Shut Down Canadian Pro-Family Websites

SOURCE: LIFESITE
DIRECT LINK

Homosexual activists have denounced three Calgary based websites to the Alberta and Federal Human Rights Commissions, demanding that the sites which post information critical of homosexual behaviour be shut down.

Homosexual activists in Alberta have targeted these websites run by Craig Chandler, a Canadian conservative and talk-radio host. The sites contain postings of letters, calls for action, and archived copies of a radio show called Freedom Radio Network. The radio program hosted by Chandler with co-host Erik Gregson describes itself as  “conservative without apology” and “a breath of fresh air in a world inundated by left wing liberal media”.

LifeSiteNews.com spoke with Chandler, who explained that his long and expensive battle with the human rights commissions began over two years ago. At that time the Executive Director of Concerned Christians Canada, Rev. Stephen Boissoin wrote a letter to the editor denouncing the homosexual agenda. Dr. Darren Lund of the University of Calgary then filed a complaint with the Alberta Human Rights Commission about the letter, which Boissoin and Chandler have been forced to fight to the tune of close to $100,000, with no end to the case in sight.

Those who speak the truth about homosexuality are becoming targets.

I need to fix that line:

Those who speak the truth about homosexuality are becoming continue to become targets.
I see that as more accurate, and a very good reason to stay anonymous.

The actions of "gay-activists" is not unexpected from sexual deviants. I guess this really doesn't surprise me much if you look at what these mentally disturbed people have done to the catholic churches at various locations around the country.

I know from personal experience, and that of some friends, the Nazi-like tactics of some homosexuals and their supporters. Family ties mean nothing to some people.

Me too. Blackmail, intimidation, threats, collusion, conspiracy, anonymous phone calls. The homos and the feminazis have all the tactics down pat. They don't call 'em the "Lavender Mafia" for nothing.

Nothing new here, you're right. It's even in the Bible, how these people are when they take over--Remember Sodom and Gommorra--real nice people--and you must be real nice back, like let us do to you and yours whatever we like as well.

I know people who have been active in protecting marriage (in a political way) whose car was sabotaged and damaged more than once, business ruined, death threats, and so on.

A bit late (with school starting).

Having said this, allow me to give my two cents' worth...

The scarier thing is that this doesn't surprise me--not one iota.

I now attend a much larger university and already I could see the pro-homosexual rights groups making their presence (Tuesday being the first day of classes).

I realize that with a campus of nearly 30,000 students and abutting one of the liberal cores of the region it's inevitable.

But while there are huge signs hanging in the union promoting the university's gay film festival and sidewalk lettering for pro-abortion groups, I see nary a sign promoting any conservative, pro-family, or Christian group.

The pro-family sites are the next target for the Lavender Mafia--after having taken a firm grip on academia and supressing (if not outright snuffing) conservative dissent.

It's sad to watch, and day by day I wonder if these activists are slowly attempting to change America into something reminiscent of Orwellian literature.

Since you are now in the belly of the beast, please keep your eyes and ears open (I'm sure you do already) and report back with anything noteworthy.

"It's sad to watch, and day by day I wonder if these activists are slowly attempting to change America into something reminiscent of Orwellian literature."

The answer is "YES", they are. Check out this thread:

Christian faces court over 'offensive' gay festival leaflets

It's the UK, but it's the goal of "gay" activists and their supporters here too.

OK, here's a couple of bites from the campus newspaper (won't get into specifics. Clearly I don't want to outright name the school I'm going to on an open thread...

Links to articles in mail.

-Plan B coming to health center

Significance: Already been covered in numerous threads here...

-University's LGBT film festival starts Thursday and runs for 11 days

Significance: Do I really need to state this...

-Campus voter drives increasing.

Significance: In Wisconsin, the state universities are the primary target of registering voters. Two years ago, this was spearheaded by a group called the New Voters Project and sponsored by the Wisconsin Public Interest Research Group (WISPIRG).

Allegedly, the group relied on fellow students to register to vote and paid per voter registration turned in. Not to mention that the state leader was a former Madistan alderwoman who resigned her seat amid numerous allegations of electoral and voter fraud strung out over several years.

The system caused headaches for municipal and county clerks--in fact, many of the local conservatives became deputized to register voters precisely because of the NVP.

Not to mention that they were coordinated with the media outlets--and I suspect the state Democratic Party had a big role in it as well (though obviously they didn't come out and explicitly state it).

In the end, I ended up turning in a sworn statement to the state elections board--how this all played out I don't know.

It appears that now the same morons are trying again to pull a fast one--with better results. And these idiots have Pew grants--one of the campuses they're going to hit particularly hard is the one I attend.

Very interesting, thanks. Basically, all the bad guys are in bed with each other (maybe even literally). One thing that would help greatly is if fedgov $ were pulled. If the fedgov spending were cut radically, much horrible crap would wither on the vine. I wish it would happen.
