**The bishops adopted the fifth edition of the program by a nearly unanimous vote,
231-3, at their
June 2005 meeting in Chicago.**
Two questions:
Who were the three holdouts in the vote. Kick them out of their episcopacys now!!!
If this happened in June of 2005 why are we just now finding out about it in August of 2006?
Inquiring minds want to know!

There are only 194 dioceses, so there is a chance that the three holdouts were emeritus.
But were I a betting man I'd guess the holdouts are Mahony, Gumbleton and another loser to be named later.

Who were the three holdouts in the vote. Kick them out of their episcopacys now!!! According to Lifesite.net, it was Los Angeles Cardinal Roger Mahony, Rochester Bishop Matthew Clark, and Bishop William Lori, of Bridgeport, Connecticut who contradicted the document in an official statement. mash here
