Well, your article is wrong:
The Catholic Church opposes Plan B not just because it's birth control, but because it considers use of Plan B to be, in Cardinal Egan of New York's words, "a chemical abortion."
And from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops:
(Take Note how they call it an abortifactant)
Comments on Proposed FDA Regulations on the Distribution of Emergency Contraceptives
"Even the Catholic Church is uncertain. The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops authorizes doctors to offer a rape survivor a drug that blocks ovulation or fertilization "if, after appropriate testing, there is no evidence that conception has occurred already." According to the Catholic Health Association, most Catholic hospitals interpret this directive liberally, since conception is hard to verify and there's "no direct scientific evidence" that EC blocks implantation."
Your linking to the Comments on Proposed etc which is dated in Oct of 2005.
What I quoted above is more recent.
So which is it?
BTW, the Catholic Church also opposes a man wear a condom even though he is infected with HIV.
Please don't preach to me about murder.
