A Young Fool encounters Foolishness
Once upon a time, I was but a wee child in Reformed Theology, taking my first baby-steps into the beautiful Cathedral of Calvinism as a young Debater for Jerry Falwell's world-beating Liberty Debate Team (Our Creed: "Defeat Harvard. Defeat Navy. Defeat American Catholic. Defeat everyone. Crush them all, every time, no exceptions. Win every single National Championship, every year.... because as long as we Calvinists keep winning, Jerry won't excommunicate us for being Calvinists!!".)
Since a Debater is always expected to be able to immediately argue either side of any given question, I spent a lot of time in the local used book-store picking up various books on philosophy and theology and politics and economics... anything I could get my dirt-poor hands on for $2 or $3 dollars a copy. Anything to familiarize myself with multiple intellectual perspectives and multiple modes of argumentation.
Now, in the course of my researches, I happened across a little book entitled War Cycles, Peace Cycles by Richard Kelly Hoskins of Lynchburg, Virginia, regarding the short and long-term economic effects of Monetary Expansions and Contractions in the context of fractional-reserve lending. Hoskins was by no means an uneducated fellow (a capable Financial Advisor and Econometricist, some of his works are still occasionally cited today), but I was singularly disturbed by several passages in which he seemed to suggest a Racial component to Fractional-Reserve Lending (which he called "the Babylon System") versus his contrary suggestions for Joint-Venture Lending.
One passage which stood out in my mind read as follows:
The further I read, the more it was apparent to me that Hoskins regarded "Israel" as The White Race, the Adamic Race descended through Abraham, and that all Non-Whites were considered to him to be zuwr "strangers": Pagans at worst, "Samaritan" Christians at best... but never "Israel".
And so, being the young fool that I was, I did what any young fool would do... I looked Dick Hoskins up in the Lynchburg, Virginia phone book, and called him at his house.
I asked him what he would make of my spiritual position -- a Confessing Christian by Faith, mostly Prussian German by Ethnicity, but with a little 1/16 smidgen of Sioux Nation mixed in 3 or 4 generations back on my mother's side.
Hoskins informed me, quite cordially and without any rancor whatsoever, that God considered me to be a mixed-breed Bastard and that "A Bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD." (Deuteronomy 23:2) He advised me to marry "one of my own kind".
Well, I decided at that point (even before I knew him to be the godfather of the "Phinehas Priesthood", the most violent expression of the Christian Identity movement) that even if he was a good money-runner, Dick Hoskins' theology was a barrel full of wet, smelly, foolish Scheißdreck, with which I would have no truck whatsoever. The Christian Creed is this: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:28, KJV).
Unfortunately, however, "Christian Identity" (derived not from pagan Nazism but rather from its bastard godfather, British Israelism) is not the only theology which Racially divides the Body of Christ into Jew and Gentile, "Israel" and "Not-Israel", Blood and Blood-lines.
Dispensational Zionist Foolishness
The future dispensational kingdom involves a racial prejudice favoring the Jews above even saved Gentiles during the millennium. As such it re-introduces the distinction between Jew and Gentile and replaces Faith with Race as a basis for divine favor. Consider the following citations from leading dispensationalists: (DISPENSATIONAL DISTORTIONS PART TWO, Redemptive History Distortions ~~ Kenneth L. Gentry, Jr., Th.D.)
However, with the establishment of the New Testament phase of the Church, the distinction between Jew and Gentile has been abolished. This was the whole point of Peter's vision of the sheet filled with unclean animals in Acts 10: "What God has called clean, let no man call unclean." Thus, there is no separate Jewish program exalting them over saved Gentiles. THE CHURCH, which includes Jew and Gentile in one body, is the fruition and culmination of God's promises to the Jews. In evidence of this, we should note that Christians are called by distinctively Jewish names in the New Testament. "He is a Jew, which is one inwardly" (Rom. 2:29). Christians are called "the circumcision" (Phil. 3:3), "the children" and "the seed of Abraham" (Gal. 3:7, 29), the "Jerusalem which is above" and the "children of the promise" (Gal. 4:24-29). In fact, Christians compose "the Israel of God" for we are a "new creature" regarding which "circumcision availeth nothing" (Gal. 6:16).
Comparing Foolishness with Foolishness
In closing, I ask only (according to the Hebrew logical-interpretive method of "how much the more?")... if the heretical British-Israel/Christian-Identity Racialists pervert True Christianity by dividing the People of God along Racial lines, then how much the more do Dispensationalists also pervert the Word of God and divide the People of God along equally Racialist lines?
Consider the following:
Those aren't Quotations from Richard Kelly Hoskins... granted, they may sound like Christian Identity quotations, but they aren't.
These are nothing less than direct quotations from the leading lights of Dispensationalism in America -- Ryrie, Pentecost, Walvoord, Hoyt, Hunt, Thomas Ice. (I could've quoted Hagee, I suppose, but the man is absolutely freakin' nutbar).
All that I did was to replace "Israel" with "The White Race", and replace "Gentiles" with "Non-Whites".
Does Dispensationalist "theology" destroy the Racial equality of the Body of Christ? What you see is what you get.
God Damn all Racial Theology.
Am at the college having lunch. Still haven't managed to get set down with The Bible long enough to respond to your original as I'd prefer. Still plan to.
Here's some interesting links I'm digging up on the topic.
Seems to be a Christian/Messianic? Judiasm site unless I'm missing something:

Send article to printer Of Bush the Unchristian and Sharon Who Outlawed Physics
by Beth Goodtree
Friday, June 24, 2005
The following is the speech I gave in Washington, DC in front of the Israeli Embassy on June 22 at a rally to save Gush Katif and the other towns slated for Jewish expulsion and destruction. I wish to thank Matt Finberg, founder of Ascendent/Redemption and StopTheDisengagement.org, for sponsoring this event.
Note - This article has been edited for content by The Raphi.
Israel has just declared illegal the whole and complete electromagnetic spectrum.
Ariel Sharon has declared that any use of an entire portion of the electromagnet spectrum is illegal and inciteful. He has banned an entire portion of the electromagnet spectrum.
What portion is that?
The wavelengths that create what we know as the color orange. In truth, Sharon has banned the color orange because for him it is the color of shame.
I say "Shame on you, Ariel Sharon, for planning to forcibly remove peaceful Jewish civilian from their homes and give their hard-worked lands to the very people who have been bombing them, shooting at them, and burning them up. SHAME ON YOU!
I repeat: SHAME ON YOU!
So ya wanna hear a joke? The joke here is that there is no such thing as an Arab Palestinian people and yet Bush, the EU and the rest of the world's leaders, as well as Ariel Sharon, Peres and other Israelis worship their phony claim to be a separate and distinct people like a modern day golden calf.
Don't believe me? I'll give it to you straight from the camel's mouth one of the high ups in Arafat's terror organization:
"The Palestinian people does not exist.
The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity.
In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese.
Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism.
For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem.
However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."
This statement was made by Zuhair Muhsein, executive Committee member of the PLO in an interview with the Dutch, Trouw, newspaper on March 31, 1977.
So they admitted to just being a bunch of terrorists created to destroy the sovereign nation of Israel.

You Dont Have To be Jewish To Love Israel
By Brian J. Hennessy
Ever since the Jewish State of Israel was resurrected from the dustbin of history in 1948 to take its place on the world stage again, Christians have been sharply divided over its spiritual significance. By my reckoning, we fall into roughly four groups.
One group (in which I include myself) has been awakened to a supernatural compassion and identification with the Jewish nation, as well as for the rest of her people worldwide. We see in this 20th century development a clear indication that Gods glorious unfulfilled promises concerning historic Israel are now coming to pass. And that we non-Jewish believers are included in all those promises.
Another group of Christians also sees great prophetic significance in the birth of Israel. But they are content to view it all at arms length, seeing it as simply a harbinger of blessings for the Church. They hold to a theology of natural and spiritual Israel, which separates Jews and Christians into separate peoples with different promises and rewards from God. For the Jews it is an earthly reward (the land of Israel). For the Church it is a spiritual reward (heaven, the rapture, etc). Some make room for a coming together of the two peoples in the millennium Kingdom, however.

Dear Muslim, Let Me Tell You Why I Believed
Walid
Note: Considering readers with English as their second language, this book is written using simple and basic English. For Muslim readers many names have been translated into Arabic.
Introduction
Today over half the population of the world claims to be either Muslim or Christian, with two separate religious books and two separate faiths which teach that someday everyone will stand before God and be judged. Each claim to believe they alone have the true message from God. Muslims claim that the Bible we have today is a corrupted version from the original, while the Christians claim that God never will allow his word "the Bible" to be corrupted. Yet God's judgment which will decide our eternal destiny --heaven or hell, depends on whether we accepted His truth. Islam claims that the way to heaven is to declare Allah as the one and only God and Muhammad as His last and final messenger for mankind. Christianity claims that faith in Christ's redemption by dying on the cross alone as the final act from God, and is the only way to heaven. The bottom line is that one of the choices has to be correct and the other is wrong. The right choice leads to eternal heaven, and the other leads to eternal hell. I will share with you why I believe that the Christian choice is the only way to heaven.
To understand the differences one must spend ample time searching through the evidence for each claim. As the Quran declares; "Produce your evidence if you are really truthful." (Al-Baqarah[2]:112). The Bible on the other hand declares; "Produce your cause saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons saith the King of Jacob." (Isaiah 41:21). And In respect to both requests and as commanded by both, I will ponder these issues, and weigh each claim on the scientific scale.
I dedicated several years studying this very issue, comparing both the Bible and the Quran, and share my experience as I pondered into the Bible attempting to find the alleged corruptions its charged with. The results of this comparison are astonishing. Readers will increase their knowledge with the evidence I gathered in the areas of Prophecy, History, and Science.
The issues will include a comparison between the Bible and the Quran on subjects, events and persons like; Peace and War in Islam, Science in the Bible and the Quran. Israel and the Muslim nations in prophecy. Prophecy in the Quran. The Historical, Manuscript, Prophetic and Archaeological evidence of the Bible.
My aim is to show the problems of how Muslims view the Christian faith and to provide hundreds of facts and evidences to prove to Muslims why Christianity is the only way.
With 18 years living in the Holy Land, growing up as a Muslim, I lived, breathed, and walked in the Islamic path, studying the Quran and practicing the faith. I hope the reader keeps an open mind and heart as he reads this. Praying that God will open our hearts and minds to better understand His truth. May God be with you as you ponder into this. To Him we give glory, and to Him we submit.
Spot on, YHAOS! In any case, the Olympians were "intracosmic gods" -- creatures like men, but "immortals." In short, they had a Creator -- who Plato refers to as the God of the Beyond (i.e., "beyond" the cosmos, or the world of created nature). When Plato has Socrates invoke God in the Apology, as he does more than once, the God referred to is not Zeus, or Athene, or any of the other Greek gods, the gods of ancient myth. The invokation is to the God of the Beyond, who is one and eternal.
Plato even complains (e.g., in the Republic) about what bad examples the Olympians set in the context of the education of youth -- he evidently finds them quite an embarrassment. It appears that Plato himself, when he refers to God, signifies the "God of the Beyond." One speculates that Plato conceived of this God as the creator god, whose creation is an eikon, or image of his own divinity....
This is definitely not the Christian God; but it is a God who is the "One" eternal god -- from whom sprang the Olympians (a second generation of gods in ancient Greece, who replaced Chronos and his associates of more primitive times) and all creation.... That in itself is quite a breakthrough. Plato, of course, never was able to say much about this god.
Thanks ever so much for writing, YHAOS!
So, when Daniel is told to seal up prophecy until the "time of the end", that is only until the time of Messiah when all these things would suddently be revealed. "And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself. " (Luke 24:27)
I don't think this can be over-stated. It is thoroughly righteous. When I read Christ's own words, it is almost as if He is short-tempered with disbelievers because He is actually God standing before them and performing actual miracles to the point of bringing dead people back to life. These men truly had the living God of all creation performing Godly wonders in front of their eyes. Imagine the man who could refuse to believe after seeing Christ raise Lazarus from the dead. And yet some did.
How does a belief that most prophecies are filled by the arrival of Jesus Christ detract from our obedience to God or hinder our living a fruitful life for His glory?
Answer is, it doesn't. In fact, it clarifies God's word and unclutters our minds to see that all prophecies, all saints, all witnessing, all of God's creation heralds the life, death and resurrection of the Lamb slain before the foundation of the world.
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, all power is given unto me in heaven and in earth." -- Matthew 28:18
In John 8 we see Christ rebuking those who "cannot hear His word"...
I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also... _____ Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not... _____ Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying. Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am." -- John 8:17-19;43-45;54-58"It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
"The Old Testament may be likened to a chamber richly furnished but dimly lighted. The introduction of light brings into it nothing which was not in it before but it brings out into clearer view much of what is in it but was only dimly or not at all perceived before." -- Warfield Biblical Doctrines pg 141-2
And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not. Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life." -- John 5:37-40"And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
That's called spamming the thread, Quix.
I think you should ask for your post to be removed. You could just as easily have linked to much of it as a courtesy to all.
Guess I don't see it that way but if he (the RM) says so, Happy to adjust my definitions.
The Contrarian Replacementarion perspective seems to relish posting extremely long docs from such sources on their side of things.
I posted some links with a few excerpts from a few of the links and that's spamming???
Curious.
Or maybe that side squealed because of feeling stuck/pricked more than average? Oh, dear. What a novel idea! That the Biblical side of things might have a bunch of well reasoned Biblical docs and arguments!
Ah well, better call out the Klintoon and Sandy Burgler censors to swat such docs and sites down! Can't have that! Better yell "Thread spamming!" But then, what do I know. Just my perspective.
The fact is that the "reputation" of these prophecy types including the "signs and wonders" crowd is dependent on 1) a squishy interpretation of the Bible, and 2) the ignorance of the folks who listen to them.
All one needs to do is watch the programming on TBN for a while to see that some Christians are not the sharpest knife in the drawer with it comes to their understanding of the Bible. Otherwise how could the likes of Benny Hinn and TD Jakes hold their attention for so long?
They are looking to carnal Israel as an indicator of their future. The prophecy shows are full of this end times reading of tea leaves. Iraq this and China that. Temple's going to be built. Oops, not so soon. Fly in the ointment.
And so it goes. The spamming is the real "sign of the times" for the futurists. They are living on borrowed time, and they know it.
It's hard to point people to Jesus when your attention is focused on carnal events in the Middle East.
The only "replacementarians" around here are the folks who replace the Messiah of Scripture, Jesus Christ, with the messiah of the rabbis who they hope will one day establish a political kingdom centered in earthly Jerusalem.
They are looking to carnal Israel as an indicator of their future.
ROTFLOL! LOL! DELERIOUSLY LOL!
Jesus is the all sufficient indicator of my future.
But it is fun to watch HIS PLANS UNFOLD regarding THE FATHER'S PROMISES TO HIS BUDDY ABRAHAM VIA THE DESCENDANTS OF JACOB.
And a new Temple will be built by God (Ezek 40-48)
Christ says that a rich man has a hard time entering either one.
When the Tribulation begins, it will the rich who will find it hard to be saved (and enter the Kingdom of heaven)(James 5).
Today, the rich have a hard time entering the Kingdom of God (spiritual Kingdom) because they love their money rather than God (Lk.19-25)
Boy, talk about using your imagination!
The church is not the Temple of Ezek., the church was not even revealed in the Old Testament.
The Temple of Ezek. is a Jewish one, with many Old Testament sacrifices re-instituted ( Isa: 66:18-21, Col.2:16-17)
Yes, the church is the Temple of God, now, but there is going to be another two temples.
One, in which the Anti-Christ sits (Matt.24:15,2Thess.2:3-4) and another where Christ Himeself sits (Ezek.40-48).
Very true.
But there will be sacrifices in the Millennial Kingdom, for the sins of the nations (Ezek.45:17-25)
LOL!
What they do is what you just did, just ignore the differences.
The Jewish leaders were looking for a King, not a Saviour.
Even the Apostles were unaware that Christ was going to die for the sins of the world, not just rescue Israel.
Yet, their last question to Him, was when was He coming back to set up His Kingdom.
He did not tell them that the Kingdom had already existed, but that they were not to be concerned with dates. (Acts.1:6-7)
Amen.
It's not hard at all actually, unless one needs to adopt the notion that they are two entirely different things.
Christ says that a rich man has a hard time entering either one.
So what you are saying is that one must first adopt the dispensational assumption that they really are two different things in order to understand the verse.
Rather than that that contrives explanation, it appears that this is a prime example of Hebrew parallelism for emphasis:
Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.Jesus is really saying the same thing in two slightly different ways to make His point even more strongly.
And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
There is no distinction in time or audience or subject. None, nada, zip, zilch. The verses say nothing about a so-called "tribulation time" that distinguishes one period from another.
Let's look at the passages more fully in parallel:
Then Jesus said to His disciples, "Assuredly, I say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. And again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?" But Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible." (Matt. 19:23-26) | Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!" And the disciples were astonished at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them, "Children, how hard it is for those who trust in riches to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." And they were greatly astonished, saying among themselves, "Who then can be saved?" But Jesus looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible." (Mark 10:23-27) |
And so there is no need to invent artificial distinctions between "kingdom of heaven" and "kingdom of God". Jesus in the Scripture plainly uses them to mean the same thing.
No tare exists in the Kingdom of God, which is a spiritual Kingdom and one has to be 'born again' to enter.
Tares are those who are unbelievers, thus, cannot be in the Kingdom of God, nor can the Kingdom of God be in them.
Trying to influence with the TRUTH AGAIN I see!
Good for you. Good for our truth muscles.
Good for our patience.
Good for some lurkers.
Holland won't change but that's their problem! LOL.
But it is not the Temple of Ezek. 40-48, nor of 2Thess.2.
