I will confidently assure you that there are many left "over there" who care -- I know some of them personally (ironically only one around here though, they're mostly in the Diocese of San Joaquin and that includes +Schofield himself).
There are at least a few Episcopal FReepers with whom I've had back-channel discussions recently, and they too are concerned. (Tha mi a'smaoineachadh gum bi an raidhinn seo\ pian dhaibh. (Obh, obh, tha an Ga\idhlig agam a'fa\gail mi.))
But to take just one question we've talked about: should they abandon their church and diocese, if the twain are about to depart in one way or another from TEC for an orthodox position?
I was exaggerating, of course. I know lots of orthodox Christians who are still in ECUSA, mostly out of inertia, although some are lucky enough to be autonomous (like my parents' parish). Some friends have put out feelers to us about visiting in our new parish . . . others are just putting their fingers in their ears and chanting "La La La - I can't hear you."
