***I don't want to be a part of a fellowship where I am not always growing.***
Amen.
I would add where I can't help others grow as well. I seem to grow the most when I am leading small groups, teaching Sunday School, etc.

That looks odd. Let me fix it.
Nor do I want to be a part of a fellowship where I can't help others grow.
(It made perfect sense until I hit post.)

Wow that hits home. I have had the same experience.
It seems that the problem in smaller churches is members can get "burnt out" because they are called on to do too much. It may be one of the reasons the mega-churches are popular. A person can get lost in the crowd. I know in my experience having been in a small church and now a large church that the needs of the church don't weigh so heavily on me as before. IOW, I don't feel compelled to be in every activity, or on every committee.
