I think in Italy they were far more anti-Catholic, one of reasons RCs so against them. In US Masons not anti-Catholic (today)

It's grounds for excommunication (as Bishop Fabian Bruskiewicz of Lincoln, Neb. did to his flock) since it goes against canon law in regards to secret societies. There have been encyclicals written about the ills of freemasonry.

Contrary to the beliefs of some, there is nothing wrong with Masons.
If fact, there is much that is RIGHT with Masons.
