The last word we have from our friends was about 5:00pm CST last night. They are now in a safe place and are out of danger. They have plenty of supplies, the area is beautiful and the people are friendly and helpful. They still have no idea when they will be able to find a way out.
I thank you all so much for your prayers for safety. It appears that God has answered in the affirmative!
Please continue to remember them in your prayers that they will be able to find a safe route out of the country.
I hope to hear something around 10am CST this morning. I will pass on new information as I get it.
I will be leaving in the morning on a business trip and may not have Internet access during the daytime; so my updates may be only in the evening hours.
We also have one of our own, fellow freeper Rebel_Yell2, who is stuck in Beirut. Please remember him in your prayers also.
Thanks so much for your prayers,
GE

We will look forward to the update and thanks be to God that they are in a safe place. By the way, it was through the report of rebel_yell2 that we heard of the road to Syria being bombed a good hour before it hit the news. He is in our prayers as well.
