May God bless his presidency and may our Blessed Mother shield and protect him with her mantle.

Thanks to Our Lady of Guadalupe, and best wishes to the gentleman. He's going to need lots of divine assistance!

Outstanding news. God bless him.

Good news. I was kinda worry about this election, especially when the leftist Lopez Obrador looked like he was winning.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, Vicente Fox was from the same "strongly religious, devout Catholic, pro-life party" and he didn't lift a finger to stop illegal abortions, or even speak out against Mexicans supporting abortion in the U.S. He sure loved to denounce our capital punishment laws thoghts (rights of convicted killers apprently mean more to him that the rights of the unborn). Not only that, Fox flauted his new "marriage" to his spokesman in violation of Catholic marriage laws and was rightly condemned by Mexican bishops, but was cheered on by "conservative, Catholic" mexicans for doing so.

How is Calderon any different from Fox on this issue? I'll believe he's "pro-life" when I see it. Jesse Jackson, Ted Kennedy, Dick Durbin, and Al Gore were all elected as "pro-life" candiates.
