Stupid hippy guitar Mass - hurry up and die!

9:00 AM Mass, no music - church full.
10:30 AM hippy guitar Mass - nine people.
12:00 noon Mass, sung according to Missal - church bursting.

Translation: stupid hippy guitar Mass is an utter waste of time and parish resources.

Our 10:00AM Mass is sung according to Missal, it has the same result, bursting at the seams.

The 4:50 Virgil Mass is the guitar Mass. I avoid it like the plague

We have the EXACT same breakdown at my parish. The 9 A.M. folk mass (w/drums) has dwindled considerably. The 7:30 a.m. lone cantor and the 10:30 classical choir are packed.

We have a Life Teen Mass. The band plays electric guitars and sings upbeat music. The place is full...with teenagers and families. I *think* that's a good thing.

Hippy guitar music sucks.

They should have a speed-metal Mass!
