Never mind. I saw the minus sign. D'oh. Disregard previous post.
LOL! I pondered a bit on the best way to represent that, and I guess I didn't choose well enough. *\;-)
I pray for all my friends still in ECUSA who are biting their nails in anticipation of a big decision at the end of this gathering. They're all torn up asking, "Where shall we go?"
It all depends on where they are in the broad Anglican spectrum.
Some go to Rome and are happy.
Some go to Orthodoxy and are happy.
Some go to Protestant churches and are happy.
And some, like yours truly did very many years ago, have found a home in the Continuing Anglican churches and are quite happy. (Caution: align with one of the larger churches, there are some oddball groups out there.) I grew up in a quite low-church background and wound up in a semi-high church parish... but I have absolutely no desire to move!
The tragedy for most of them is that their families have worshiped in the same parish for several generations. They cannot conceive to worshiping anywhere else. Some are trying hard to just keep their heads down but the looniness has invaded even in our rural area. So they've come to the point of being unable to ignore "815".
