There are some who would claim the same reason (personal prejudices) restrains them from believing/taking serious the Historian Josephus. Academy historians claim that they can not consider a God absent evidence because miracles are improbable.
Academy scientists tell me that God is unneccesary to creation because given enough time and universes everything is probable.
I'm thinking the historians and scientists need to have an academic picnic.
