Finding a Calling in the Episcopal Church

[In advance, my apologies to the Episcopalians on this list but this story is getting about the Anglican blogworld -- and if true (I didn't like the tone of the VirtueOnline-News article), the orthodox ECUSA will have major difficulty if Stacy Sauls becomes Presiding Bishop. It's a shame the likes of +Iker and +Schofield aren't in the running. --sionnsar]

Bishop Stacy Stauls is a candidate for the position of Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. He is also one of the most leading forces in driving out what remains of orthodox believers in the ECUSA. When not siezing the assets of parishes in his diocese that oppose his revisionist agenda and defrocking their priests, he apparently shares his views with other priests on how God “called him” to service in the Church.

One night while he was “discerning his call” at General Theological Seminary in New York, he and a few other students decided to visit a strip club. One of the young women who works there began to dance in front of him when he noticed a garter belt on her leg with the words “go for it”. That apparently was his moment of epiphany and he became an Episcopal priest. It is bad enough that this man has reached the rank of bishop…what’s worse is that in the Episcopal Church, it makes perfect sense.

Anther story Sauls openly told to a group that included both men and women, occurred on the eve of the September before he went off to seminary. He took his wife and son to visit her mother to give her the news. As they were getting ready to drive away after the visit, his mother-in-law started crying and saying "you are taking my babies away from me." At that moment Sauls retorted, "f**k you, they're mine", and drove off.

One, this blogger needs to shape up his typing and grammar. I am disappointed.

Two, this makes his mother-in-law sound like a goofball, even if he also sounds like a creep.

Three, if he was at a heterosexual strip club, does this indicate that he's not gay? Or does the fact that he noticed the stripper's accessories rather than her anatomy mean he is gay?
