Be with your children today who need your care. We ask your blessing on these who are named here, sick, anxious, in need, who have lost loved ones, and in memory of those who have passed on. We also pray for those not named, but whom you know need our special prayers.
You know our needs, even before we do. Help us! Look on us with those eyes of mercy which give us the strength to carry on. Be our shield and defender. Keep us always in the palm of your hand, and teach us the way we should go.
O Lord, we trust in you! Be thou our vision!
In the name of Jesus we ask, Amen.

Prayers sent.
btw, I do not have any updates to report on Ada, I am sorry to say. I do know that if she made it a month (and she did), she will start needing surgical procedures on her heart (I am assuming) to keep it working until they can find a donor. Then we will have to pray for no infections, etc. I will make some phone calls this weekend to see if I can find out anything.
Prayers requested for my wife and I as we just learned my wife is pregnant...Prayers for a healthy pregnancy for mother and child and prayers for my wife, child and I to forever let Christ rule our hearts...
Update:
I'll be having surgery on June 28th on 2 different locations on my digestive tract. I'll be in the hospital for a minimum of 7 days. The additional testing I've undergone shows the initial surgery to correct the perforated ulcer was done incorrectly, part of the initial ulcer is still there and there is extensive scar tissue which shouldn't be there.
I have precancerous lesions in my esophagus which will not be cured by surgery so I'll have to be monitored every 3 months by having a camera inserted down my esophagus and stomach. They will remove 60% of my stomach which will leave me open to hypoglycemia. Also, I'll have a feeding tube inserted during surgery which will remain until my physician is satisfied my stomach is capable of handling regular food. The feeding tube is required as I'm already somewhat underweight and they feel I need additional nutrition. The feeding tube will remain in my stomach even after I'm released from the hospital.
My sister has undergone more testing and while a definitive diagnosis for ovarian cancer hasn't been made, she has been referred to an oncologist-gynecologist. She does undergo surgery on June 6th to remove a precancerous tumor in her breast. If I'm able to access my computer I'll keep everyone updated on my sister.
Thanks to everyone for keeping us in your prayers.
