Full blown hardline 5-point Calvinism belongs to Presbyterian or (some) Reformed churches. It has no place in the Baptist church.

A cursory reading of Baptist history will reveal that the original baptist confessions (London & Philadelphia) were Calvinistic/Reformation Creeds. Pastor Dever is being true to his historic roots.
