Thanks for posting this -- my respect for Billy Graham has grown after reading some of those old quotes of his. In contrast to the drama-queen author (Cloud), Graham shows maturity, civility, decency, and just plain good horse sense.

I do not believe that Graham believes that as you stated it.

He may believe that other faiths people can experience Salvation by meeting Christ at their moment of death.

The Bible is somewhat moot on that point.

The Bible does say that HE WHO SEEKS GOD [earnestly etc] WILL FIND HIM.

None of us have it as all figured out as we might think.

Certainly Scripture is clear that every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is The Lord of Lords and King of Kings.

And I'm confident Graham believes that AND THAT SALVATION IS VIA CHRIST ALONE.

Long ago Billy Graham began compromising and expecting good results from his sin.

No I do not know.

The only ones that really do know is WJBC and Father God Himself.

But I according to James and Paul can have a pretty good idea of ones salvation by the fruit produced.

And why could you call me judgemental of WJBC? You are the one that said he wouldn't speak out against Homosexuality and Abortion, and Rev. Graham should have made him.

I certainly have invited more exhortation and correction by my brothers and sisters in The Lord than anyone I know.

Have submitted more to same than about anyone I know.

Have repented of plenty of mistaken notions and actions.

Am a flawed person in a flawed world saved by The Blood of The Lamb.

I do not presume to know what Graham meant in the statements selected.

I prefer to judge him by his fruit and by the Very Biblical statements he has made far more than the questionable ones.

I suspect God Almighty will be far more generous toward Graham than the Nepal Missionary is.

God, The Father God I know, is looking for Biblical justifications to save folks He loves, NOT Biblical excuses to damn them.

I'm quite confident Graham's Salvation is secure in Jesus--that He has committed Himself to The Lord WHO IS the Author and Finisher of Graham's faith regardless of what the onlookers think.

But I also know that many on that day will say "Lord Lord and Jesus will say depart for I never knew you."

I recall a quote from the Wall St Journal about 10 yrs ago. A group of Baptist ministers visited with Clinton and Gore, both C and G So. Baptists. The minister's comment, "They don't speak the language of Zion".

He has intimated a number of times that he has spoken quite forcefully and searchingly with the heart of The Gospel to such high and mighty people.

What matters in his ministry is what he says when he walks up the pulpit and every sermon I've heard him preach is pretty much nothing but gospel truth.

I don't believe Billy Graham has compromised an essential of The Gospel one shred his entire life in either thought, word or deed.

His integrity, faithfulness to his Lord and his declarations of Biblical Truth are without peer.

God is well able to judge all the details. The above facts are sufficient, for me.

If I went to a BG crusade, what would he tell me to do to insure salvation? I attended a BG crusade in the early 1970s when I was a wee little girl. I don't think I've ever watched more than a minute of a BG crusade on tv, and the only times I recall seeing him on tv, he was at funerals of politicians or some such.

But it wasn't immorality that caused the missionary to write the areas where Graham compromised.

I have begun to think that Bro Cloud strained at gnats and swallowed cammels so much that he bordered or crossed over into a wholesale UNBiblical and immoral attack on Graham.
