Prayers and Intercessions

Christ, through his resurrection, fulfilled the hope of his people. Let us call out to him urgently: - Ever-living Christ, listen to us.
Lord Jesus, from whose wounded side flowed blood and water,: make the Church your pure and spotless bride.
Shepherd of all, Peter confessed his love for you and you gave him the care of your flock:: give your pope N. ever more charity and zeal.
Thanks to you, the fishermen, your disciples, made an enormous catch of fish:: send us workers to take up their apostolic task.
By the shore of the sea you gave your followers bread and fish to eat:: may our brethren never die of hunger through our fault.
Jesus, the last Adam, the spirit of life, raise up the dead in your image;: may each of them have a full share in your joy.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
