I've heard stories of people who have strayed from the Church pick up this book and question the Christian faith because of what this book says.

Well than you talk to them about it when they have questions. I've seen some signs around here (SC) saying all copie should be burned. It's like the Harry Potter fiasco, don't these people realize that by overreacting to a FICTION book we are giving it credibility and drawing attention to it.

And some of us questioned the faith long before the book came out. With each passing miillenia the church has held less of a grip over the masses, must be all that darned free will and desire to explain 'Mysteries' with logic and investigation, not just taking it on faith. Is a book going to cause a mass exodus of believers to leave the church? no. Some believe, some don't, the days of the church forcing anyone to believe and not even allow themselves to question things are long gone.
