Jesus spoke latin ?
Latin better celebrates the life & death & resurrection of Christ ?
Latin is designed to keep the faithful in everlasting ignorance.

Vatican II was the death of the One Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church. <* of course sarcasm off>

you said that the Classical Roman rite was the rite that best expressed the Catholic faith.

If this statement is made based on a comparison of the TLM with the NO, then he is right. Otherwise, Msgr. Schmitz needs to be reminded that Jesus was a Jew (as were His apostles and Blessed Mother), lived, died and resurrected in the Middle East, and spoke Aramaic. St. Peter went to Antioch long before he stepped foot inside Italy. That said, the Antiochene - Syriac Divine Liturgy would be the the rite that best expresses the Catholic faith, for it alone retains the original Jewish heritage of the Catholic Church.
