Doesn't surprise me. When I lived in Chicago, I attended an old parish on the far North Side that had old Irish ladies in the morning, and Nigerians and Filipinos other parts of the day. The pastor was Polish.

If you don't have a mass at 1 pm in the afternoon the Mexicans won't go. They'll be out at 6 am during the week to look for work but on Sunday they must sleep in very late. And as for the Dominicans, you hardly ever see them. Years ago the Puerto Rican, Columbian, Peruvian and Cuban would attend mass and send their kids to catholic schools, today it's a different country and different story.
