Dear Freepers in Christ,

There seems to be something wrong big time today with http://www.freerepublic.com.

I could not log on to it for the past 4.5 hours and this is similar to an experience I had more than a week back, where Salvation and I and a few others could not log on to Free Republic for a number of Hours.

I wonder if some hackers are trying to destroy Free Republic unless the whole site was down for repairs for almost 5 hours.

Can anyone enlighten me on this ?
