They don't buy others' silver? (I'm not sure I follow...)

We live in a nice little area around a lake and everyone who has property here has rights to the lot. Here's a picture of it taken in the morning of September 8, 2001, mist rising off the lake.

All I see is "Image hosted by Tripod." Even when I go to "Judy's Jams"...

Really S. One doesn't buy one's silver, one inherits it!

" We live in a nice little area around a lake and everyone who has property here has rights to the lot."

Smacks vaguely of communism! :)

Funny. If I try it on IE, I get the Tripod thing too, but on firefox I get the picture.

Ah... I see. Nouveau riche -- well, the Micro$oftie$ are moving in and changing the character of the place. Big mansions, etc. *\:-(

Oh, it's much worse than that, I assure you!

You see, "we" bought it fair & square. Apparently it once belonged to the county, but there was a big problem with people bringing in motorboats (noise & pollution issues), and teens' partying late nights there (drinking, noise & pollution issues), so the few owners of the time got together, bought the lot, fenced it and made it community property; it's on all our deeds.

Uh, huh. Firefox cached the picture and is serving it from the cache, probably. OTOH... even from her site on tripod.com Tripod isn't serving the picture. Odd.

Ah, well, you should have said so; a bit like the club at the lake. You see I thought it was a "public" beach. Too bad about the McMansions, though. We have the same sort creeping in both on the coast and at the lakes...but not at the club! :)
