There is no problem that can not be fixed with discipline. The doctrine is intact. ECUSA leaders are totally disconnected from the ECUSA doctrines in addition to having all the same discipline problems without a fraction of the means to correct them.
All the mainline churches are having the same problems with their leadership leaving their doctrines and too much independence to permit a fix other than a change in fashion. That is not much to count on as a solution if you ask me.
