Yes, I do understand the Scripture very well. I also reviewed some scripture commentary of Calvin and found it very poorly done: it ignored even the immediate context and his sole interest was to explain away stuff that did not agree with his theories, rather than read what is written.
Like the RCs explain away most of Scripture in an effort to fit it's doctrine?
