Reparation was the main theme of the Rosary Walk
Catholics carried handmade signs and recited the rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary
A solemn benediction marked the end of the Rosary Walk
Catholic ping!
Great Great post. Thats the New Orleans people never see. The fact that NOLA has more adoration chapels(or did)for a Catholic city that size than any other. Its a shame a few streets of Bourbon is all people saw. They didnt see the beautiful devotion people had at St. Patricks. Going down to St Judes right off North Rampart and the Quarter and doing the St Judes NOvena. Its so true. What people fail to understand is what a loss the nation will have if the last Bastion of SOuthern Catholcism and Southern Jewery is lost. New Orleans reminds us of all those places and esp River towns where Southern morays and immigrants bringing their Catholic and JEwish faith cmae together and created something special.
Our Lady of Prompt Succor pray for us
This is a New Orleans one never hears about! Thanks for posting this! It seems high time that reparation was made for the increasingly lewd, trashy, and blasphemous "celebrations" that have made Mardi Gras lower than Hellywood.
Why is this story not in the headlines? When people ask "WHY" "WHY,did New Orleans suffer so much destruction? "
God will not be mocked--He will take much--BUT don't dare mock HIS Mother ! Them watch out !
Merciful God, and Dear Lady--Forgive them and convert them!
God BLESS the rosary prayers-people!!!
