Interesting, according to St. Maury Johnston, Paul's message was to accept Gentiles into the church regardless of any on-going homosexual conduct, and that homosexuals are now free at last from the Law, which means that old Testament verses condemning homosexual conduct have been cast aside!
"There must be schisms among you in order that those who are approved among you [by God] may be made obvious" (1 Corinthians 11:19)
It's a shame that Johnston didn't bother quoting from more of Paul's 1st letter to the Corinthians: 1 Corinthians 6:6-10
1Cr 6:7 Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather [suffer yourselves to] be defrauded?
1Cr 6:8 Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that [your] brethren.
1Cr 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

Good morning..didn't I read something recently that the Diocese of San Francisco is expected to choose a gay or lesbian bishop this spring? That, if it happens, will put the issue right into GC, as if someone had rolled a live grenade down the aisle..
