Good morning..didn't I read something recently that the Diocese of San Francisco is expected to choose a gay or lesbian bishop this spring? That, if it happens, will put the issue right into GC, as if someone had rolled a live grenade down the aisle..
You are correct. There have been several postings over the past week or so about this (Diocese of California); among the candidates to succeed Swing are a (practicing) gay and a lesbian. (See "The Bird is the Word" in the Religion forum.)
