Another reason that you should be using the KJV Bible.

I have always believed in Jesus as Lord and Savior. I have not always believed that one version of the Bible is better until the last 10 years or so. I have always read from the Authorized King James Version. Most likely because the Lord did not want me to get my understanding from any other source.
As I have gotten closer to God over the years I have learned why the KJV is the best of the translations of the original Greek and Hebrew text. Some of the reasons are that the words of the Old English which seam difficult to read and understand at first are really the most descriptive and least confusing to understand as you read. Words like Longsuffering from the KJV have been translated into patience in the NIV. Now the word are pretty similar in the definitions, but the word longsuffering shows an inflection of pain while you endure. Patience does not imply this at all. You may be patient with the guy at the counter of the DMV, but you are long suffering with a loved one while you hope they change their ways. There are many more examples of the pitfalls of the NIV, NKJV, KJ21, NASB to numerous to get into. And if you are not willing to examine and ask the Lord to help you discern the Truth of the matter then my post is falling upon deaf ears.
There is a good book called The Language of the King James Bible , Discover its Hidden Built in Dictionary, by Gail Riplinger. It is very informative on how to understand the Old English of the KJV Bible.
But on to why I posted in the first place if you go to these links you will learn how the publishers of the NIV are also the publisher of the Satanic Bible. Their Teen study Bible is very disturbing and worldly, even mocks the Bible in a hidden way.

I use a concordance to see what the original meanings should be. I do believe that the KJV is infallible though. I believed that the translation was done so that the common man could read the word of God. I believe it was an inspiration of God that King James with all of his faults (no one is faultless) took on the task of bringing the word of God to the common folk and taking the burden away from the church who are fallible.

Well, he was well known to have affairs with men in his day, promoting several of his favorites to positions of power. In the early 1620's, he made George Villiers the Duke of Buckingham, for instance. He was one of his more well known "male companions".

If you word Mariophibic is to be Mariology or Mariolatry, it is still a wrong interpretation of the verses you have quoted. The queen of heaven is a false god not the Virgin Mary. Either case I do not worship The virgin Mary. I am an apostolic.

Thank you I added that to my favorite list.
My point was that the word longsuffering is not used in the other translations.

My physical bible is the King James. I love the language also. For most of my studies I use
E-Sword and have about 25 different bible versions. It's great to be able to see how different people translate the same verse and then let the Lord lead you into the truth.

"you should be using the KJV BibleYou should stop bossing us around. When you become the Holy Spirit, then preach it. Until then, you should ask Him for some humility.

You would be wise to purchase a good Lexicon.
I do believe that the KJV is infallible though.
There are very few scholars who would agree with you. Most believe the autographs (original manuscripts) were infallible, and the translations we have today are accurate.

If you want accurate renderings of the original Hebrew and Greek texts, get an Amplified Bible. Accurate depicting the biases of the translators, at least.

Are you Catholic? That is, you actually share something with us. We do not worship the Blessed Virgin and we are apostolic as well (One. Holy. Apostolic. Catholic.)

My point was that the word longsuffering is not used in the other translations. Yes, I understood your point, and I found it an interesting one since indeed "longsuffering" and "patience" do denote different ideas. In my study of Japanese, I have considered the somewhat similiar difference in gaman and konki.

being deaf does not matter when discerning the truth
Not deaf in the physical sense. Deaf in the sense that unless the Holy Spirit allows you to discern the Truth of the word. Deaf in the sense that ones heart is hardened and believes that they cannot and do not need to learn more.

even hinting that it is somehow "inspired" is crossing perilously close to idol worship,
Because I can not read the original Greek and Hebrew I believe it is the inspired word of God translated from the original text.
John 1:1
1. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
I believe and many other who probably will not say it publicly that the KJV is diligently translated out of the Original Tongues.
