I use a concordance to see what the original meanings should be. I do believe that the KJV is infallible though. I believed that the translation was done so that the common man could read the word of God. I believe it was an inspiration of God that King James with all of his faults (no one is faultless) took on the task of bringing the word of God to the common folk and taking the burden away from the church who are fallible.

You would be wise to purchase a good Lexicon.
I do believe that the KJV is infallible though.
There are very few scholars who would agree with you. Most believe the autographs (original manuscripts) were infallible, and the translations we have today are accurate.
